His Excellency Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, stressed that the 54th Eid Al Etihad tells the story of a nation that believed, from its very beginning, that the unity of its people is the foundation upon which a country capable of shaping the future with confidence and strength can be built. Since its day one, Al Hussaini said, the Union marked a historic turning point that ushered the UAE into a new era of comprehensive development, firmly establishing a leadership approach centred on empowering people and ensuring their wellbeing and stability. The Minister added: “Today, our nation continues its development journey with steady determination toward ambitious goals that prioritise sustainability, competitiveness, and innovation, pillars essential for present prosperity and long-term progress.” He stated: “This year’s theme, ‘United’, reflects the essence of who we are as a nation, people joined by shared purpose, shared values, and a shared sense of belonging. It is this spirit that has carried the UAE forward, helping the country turn challenges into opportunities and opportunities into achievements that place our nation among the world’s most dynamic and progressive nations.” His Excellency continued: “On this special day, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting the vision of our wise leadership, strengthening financial sustainability, driving development projects that improve quality of life, and putting people at the heart of everything we do. “With the spirit of the Union guiding us, we will continue working toward the ambitions of We the UAE 2031 and Centennial 2071, building a future that reflects the UAE we believe in: confident, united, and always moving forward,” His Excellency noted.
