Leaders of Finance Initiative

Leaders of Finance Initiative

The Leaders of Finance initiative is a distinguished national programme launched by the Ministry of Finance to cultivate a new generation of national talent specialised in public finance, fiscal policy, and economic governance.

The initiative was introduced in response to the rapid transformation shaping the global economy and the growing need for national cadres equipped with advanced knowledge and analytical skills to contribute to the development of fiscal policies and the sustainability of public finances.

The programme offers an integrated learning and practical environment that combines specialised training, dialogue with decision-makers, and direct exposure to financial decision-making mechanisms within government entities and international financial institutions. This plays a key role in building the capabilities of Emirati youth and preparing them to be future leaders in the financial sector.

Leaders of Finance Initiative

Qualified National Leaders of Public Finance

The Leaders of Finance initiative represents a qualitative leap in empowering young national talents and equipping them with in-depth financial knowledge and skills. It offers a comprehensive practical experience that connects theoretical concepts with real-world application within government entities, enabling participants to develop strong capabilities in budget analysis and public resource allocation.

The initiative also broadens participants’ horizons by providing insight into best practices in public debt management and digital transformation in financial systems, with the aim of developing qualified professionals capable of assuming key leadership roles in public finance and keeping pace with the demands of the national economy.
