Financial Media Forum
The Financial Media Forum, launched by the Ministry of Finance, is a landmark event designed to strengthen communication channels between financial institutions and media organisations. The forum aims to empower media professionals with insights and tools needed to understand and analyse financial data with accuracy and transparency, thereby enhancing the quality of media coverage, reinforcing confidence in financial policies, and strengthening the UAE’s position as a leading regional and global financial hub.

Financial Media Forum Editions
The Forum is organised as part of the Ministry of Finance’s Government Communication Strategy, which aims to build effective media partnerships and enhance public awareness of financial data and policies, in line with the UAE’s targets of transparent governance and global competitiveness. The Forum also seeks to shape the future of the UAE’s financial sector by addressing strategic themes, including the future trends in the financial landscape, strengthening public-private partnerships, supporting sustainability and government spending efficiency, and consolidating the importance of financial awareness and literacy across society.
Financial Media Forum 2024
The first edition was held in Dubai on 9ᵗʰ October, 2024 under the entitled “Government Financial Data”. The event featured presentations and interactive sessions under the entitled “Government Data and Public Financial Awareness” and “Leveraging Financial Data”. The forum agenda also included a presentation titled “Government Financial Data and Statistics” as well as an open session with media professionals. The event witnessed broad participation from around 30 national and international media organisations.
Financial Media Forum 2025
The second edition took place in Dubai on 1ˢᵗ May, 2025 under the entitled “Shaping the Future of the Financial Sector: The Balance Between Influence and Responsibility”. The event brought together leading government and media figures, along with more than 100 media professionals and students specialising in finance and economics. The Forum highlighted global economic transformations and the media’s role in promoting transparency and sustainable financial literacy.
