Targeted Group

The Programme targets department heads and outstanding employees at the Ministry, aiming to enhance their capabilities in strategic planning and thinking, decision-making, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and effective communication frameworks.

By investing in human capital, the Leaders Edge Programme enahnces the continuous development of government leaders equipped to drive transformation and innovation in financial management, while maintaining the UAE’s global leadership in the financial sector.

Enabling Future Leaders in Public Finance

The UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) has launched the Leaders Edge Programme, aiming to prepare a new generation of young national leaders capable of efficiently and innovatively managing the future of the government financial sector. The Programme aims to develop leadership, behavioural, and professional skills, establish a base of distinguished talent within the ministry, and support the career paths of employees, enhancing the sustainability of government work and supporting the country’s future vision.

The first cycle of the Leaders Edge Programme (2023-2024) was implemented in cooperation with the University of Arizona (Eller Executive Education). The Programme lasted for 12 months, during which, ten promising female leaders were equipped to shape the future of the government financial sector.
