MoF has launched this digital participation for the public, to involve them in developing financial data and government statistics in the financial sector to achieve happiness and quality of life. This is a key opportunity to ensure public and financial-sector specialists participation to develop the action mechanisms, in order to achieve MoF’s objectives and aspirations – especially because issuing financial statements contributes directly to the government decision-making process.
Objective:
This digital participation aims to improve the way of presenting and using financial data and statistics and launch innovative ideas that contribute to achieving the UAE's vision to build a prosperous.
Digital decision-making:
Various university students and specialists in the financial field participated in the UAE Hackathon in Fujairah, where innovative ideas to devise mechanisms and methods of presenting financial data were counted. These are being studied to improve the work mechanisms of big data and the financial statistics field in the ministry.
