Topic

In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with the aim of facilitating people's lives, enhancing the business environment, attracting minds and talents, and achieving the goals of the "We Are the UAE 2031" vision, and in continuation of the strenuous efforts exerted by the Ministry of Finance in the process of zeroing bureaucracy and following the launch of the "Customer Councils" initiative, we invite you to participate in designing and developing the Ministry of Finance's services and zeroing bureaucracy by proposing your ideas and suggestions regarding the services, procedures, and requirements that can be developed, reduced, or eliminated to improve government efficiency.

Objective

The consultation aims to collect customers' opinions, suggestions and recommendations on how to zero bureaucracy in the Ministry of Finance, in addition to enhancing transparency and engagement with customers by involving them in decision-making processes and adopting innovative ideas to improve and simplify government procedures.

Expected decisions as a result of this consultation

Customer opinions and suggestions will be utilized in preparing a plan to improve and develop the Ministry of Finance's services and determine the procedures, conditions, and requirements that can be simplified, merged, or eliminated based on customer suggestions.

Outcome And Impact

The consultation produced key recommendations to streamline processes
 Efforts are underway to reduce the approval period for commercial licenses to less than 30 days. Procedures on the procurement platform were simplified, speeding up operations and enhancing user experience

Transactions were facilitated by minimizing requirements and using software to integrate and analyzed data, ensuring compliance and clear controls. A comprehensive platform was launched for easy access to financial services, and government contracts were improved with greater transparency and accurate information. Special support services were also introduced for people of determination during supplier registration
