Objective:
This consultation aims to measure the clarity and ease of understanding of financial legislation and policies published across the Ministry of Finance's platforms, as well as assess the accessibility of relevant legal and financial information. It also seeks to identify challenges users may encounter when searching for or interpreting legislation. In addition, the consultation gathers feedback and suggestions that support improving the user experience and enhancing the presentation of legislative content, thereby strengthening transparency and increasing awareness of financial legislation in the United Arab Emirates.
Expected decision as a result of this consultation:
Based on the outcomes of this consultation, the Ministry will explore opportunities to further develop and enhance the mechanisms for publishing and presenting financial policies and legislation, strengthen supporting explanatory and awareness materials, and simplify financial and legal terminology where necessary. The findings will also help identify the most effective methods for presenting financial legislation and policies in a way that ensures clarity and ease of understanding for all segments of society and relevant stakeholders.
