Request to Open and Close Bank Accounts for Federal Entities

About this service

This service allows the opening and closing of bank accounts at the Central Bank of the UAE and banks and financial institutions operating in the country, after approval by the Ministry of Finance, in order to serve the needs of the federal entity and enhance the efficiency of banking operations procedures, in implementation of the provisions of Ministerial Resolution No. (141) of 2023 regarding the rules for opening and closing bank accounts, managing banking operations and supplying resources at the Central Bank of the UAE and banks and financial institutions.

The process

1. Access the Ministry of Finance website or smart application.
2. Click on the Services menu, then select the "Opening and Closing Bank Accounts for Federal Entities" service.
3. Click on the "Start Service" button.
4. Log in using UAE Pass.
5. Complete the digital form to request the opening or closing of a bank account.
6. Upload the required supporting documents.
7. Review and confirm the information before electronic signature.
8. Submit the application by copying the application link and sending it to the authorized signatory for approval.
