In celebration of being named the Leading Federal Entity Award, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) organised today a special celebration to laud this recognition at MoF's headquarters in Dubai. The event was held in the presence of His Excellency Mohamed Bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; His Excellency Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of MoF, Assistant Undersecretaries and Directors of the Departments, as well as MoF employees.His Excellency Mohamed Bin Hadi Al Hussaini delivered a speech, during which he praised the efforts made by MoF employees to reiterate the ministry's global leadership in financial fields. His Excellency said: “Today, I am pleased to meet each and every one of the Ministry of Finance's employees to celebrate another accomplishment in government work fields. Thanks to your commitment, we received the 'Leading Federal Entity – ministries with less than 500 employees' award from the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award. We also received the 'Best Entity in Proactivity and Future Readiness' award, which is significant to us as it reflects our approach to adopt innovation and creativity to devise sound solutions that ensure the growth and sustainability of government resources and the integrity of the fiscal system. This award also reaffirms our commitment to offering pioneering and smart services for customers across various sectors."“You are the bedrock of this achievement. At the Ministry of Finance, excellence is a prerequisite for our projects; hence, I am confident that this award will motivate us to keep up the good work and reaffirm the ministry's leadership," added His Excellency.His Excellency Mohamed Bin Hadi Al Hussaini also honoured the ministry's employees who were nominated in the three categories in the 6th edition of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award, including the Prime Minister's Medals, Government Excellence Model (GEM) Team, and Excellence Ambassadors. MoF recently received two awards in the 6th edition of the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award, during a ceremony that was organised by the UAE Government under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, at Expo 2020 Dubai. Their Highnesses Sheikhs, ministers, and senior government officials attended the ceremony.
